BESY multi-function cables are the most obliging step of Kabelovna Kabex® towards its customer. They enable to put the construction of the final product directly according to customer’s requirements. Wide range of our products, certified according to new European norms, enables to produce both the combined products (several cable types under one sheath) and the products construed directly for a particular installation. It enables us to cooperate during elaboration of a new project and eventually consequently to develop new product in dependence on the needs of a customer. Developing programme itself and high-quality technological equipments are the guarantee that the customer with very specific demands will be satisfied. On the customer’s  request we are able to produce the multi-function hybrid cables in various designs.

 

All these products (new or extension solutions) are documented by tests in appropriate accredited testing stations and are properly qualified and certified.

 

The example of this kind of multi-function product can be a “security cable” with self-supporting construction. This one is used for signal leading and security cameras controlling. There are a coaxial cable, control weak-current and power cable under one sheath. The compressive cable from our production has a similar construction and usage. It is used for a camera shifting and controlling in hardly accessible places (e.g. in drainlines).

 

Multi-function cable can have general properties (e.g. fireproof property, waterproof property or LOCA design) during assembling from variant cable groups only when all the elements have the same or higher class of demanded resistance. Certification from many fields of special cables from the production of Kabelovna Kabex® guarantees complying with these parameters also concerning to the cables destined to highly specific environments.

 

Environment parameters, bending radiuses and resistances of a cable result mainly from the used materials and are specific for the construction of every product, and to a certain degree they are influenceable by requirements of a customer.

 

The cables are supplied according to the Technical arrangement with the customer.

Construction:

1. Supply cores 3x 1 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from PVC ensuring supplying of the terminal equipment
2. Control cores 8x 0,5 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from PVC, the cores are twisted and overall screened, they ensure the transmission of low-frequency signals from sensors of terminal equipment, screening ensures the protection against interference by external signals

3. Coaxial element, characteristic impedance  75 Ω, dielectric diameter 3,7 mm, a cable for transmission of a videosignal from terminal equipment (usually from sensing camera)

4. Elements are twisted in a cable core

5. Sheath from PVC, white colour

 

Fire retardant, halogen-free hybrid cable - BESY - (1-C5X 2x6 + JC5X 2x2x0,5 /sto/ + JC5X 1x0,5) /ZE/m/-/
Construction:
1. Supply cores 2x 6 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from XLPE ensuring supplying of the terminal equipment by DC voltage
2. Data element, 2 pairs with a conductor 0,5 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from XLPE, cores are twisted in pairs, every pair is separately screened by CuSn braiding, they ensure data transmission of low-frequent signals with terminal equipment, screening ensures the protection against interference by external signals of each element separately

3. Communication element 1x 0,5 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from XLPE (communication core)

Construction:
1. Supply cores 4x 0,75 mm2, Cu conductor of the category 5 according to IEC 60228, insulation from HDPE, they ensure supplying of the terminal equipment

2. Coaxial element, characteristic impedance  75 Ω, dielectric diameter 3,7 mm, a cable for transmission of a videosignal from sensing camera

3. Elements are twisted in a cable core, wrapped around glassfiber tensile element, completed by filling elements for reaching roundness

4. Sheath from HDPE, blue colour

Usage:

The compressive cable is used for introducing of diagnostic cameras into canalization, eventually for introducing corrective robots into canalization. Cable sheath is made out of high-density abrasion-proof polyethylene. Inside the cable core there is a glassfiber bar that is very hard to bend on a small bending diameter that is why no loops are formed on it, it does not refract and with this cable it is possible to introduce (push) an equipment up to several tens of meters into canalization.
