BURNEX®

The system of structurally separated premises

BURNEX® system is the system of structurally separated cable lines for usage in ventilation shafts of the underground, in nuclear power plants, in originally atomic shelters and everywhere where fire separated premises for cable lining are required.

It ensures the fire separation of cable installations in division lines between separate fire sectors while keeping system integrity. The system complies with seismic toad up to 8 degree of MSK 64, is compact and resistant to fire up to 1000 °C.

The cable line of BURNEX® system is modular completed and constitutes a connected duct from austenitic steel, copying the wall on which it is fixed. The duct is covered by ceramic elements ensuring fire resistance of the whole system up to collapse.

The system consists of the following components:

1. Connecting component – it serves for fixing and connecting of the cable line and is a supporting element for the rest of the cable line. It is made out of austenitic steel.

2. Flat component – it constitutes the cable line for cable lining. It is made out of the tube from austenitic steel. Standardly, it is produced in stipulated lengths 1, 2 and 3 m.

3. Elbow pipes – they serve for line passing over 1, 2 and 3 bends and passes (projections, edges, stairs etc.). Already prepared pipe bends from bended tubes are used (austenitic steel). They are constituted by bending angles 15, 30, 45, 60 a 90° and at the same time they maintain minimum bending radius.

4. Flexible part – it is made out of austenitic flexible tube. While producing, we weld on both sides connecting parts and we lace a ceramic protection on it. … component is produced in a length of 1 m.

5. Thermal protection – is made out of ceramic material and it protects the line against the heat effects.

BURNEX®-T – pressure variant – components are adapted to pressure blowing of cables

BURNEX®-M – mechanical variant – components are adapted to the possibility of manual inserting or pulling in of cables
